Research Requests

These are open appeals for help. In each, a report exists describing an American prisoner whom no one has identified.

We publish them because the people most likely to recognize a face, a name or a place do not read English-language POW/MIA sites. Each request appears in the languages of the places where the report originated, Ukrainian ahead of Russian.

Please read the status language on each page carefully. A request for information is not a finding, and nothing on these pages should be described as a confirmed case.
